Pascale Fournier is a french artist born in the USA. She studied History and Archeology at the University of Nanterre Paris X.

Attracted by the theater, Pascale Fournier approached scenography through her collaboration with the scenographer Philippe Kerbrat: production of sets and costumes at the Paris Opera, the Paris Theater, the Comédie Française, the Odéon.

A costume designer, she stood out for her predilection for contemporary works, in particular the creations of Yasmina Reza: Conversation after a funeral (1987 Théâtre de la Villette), La Traversée de l'hiver (1990 Cado d'Orléans - Théâtre du Rond -Point) ART (1994 Comédie des Champs-Élysées) Three versions of life (2000 Antoine Theater). As well as through his long collaboration with the director Patrice Kerbrat Tabarro (Paris Opera 1982) Paillasse (Paris Opera 1982) Père (Comédie Française) Un Coeur Français (Comedie des Champs Elysées) Long journey to the night (Théâtre de la Madeleine) Uncle Vania (Théâtre Antoine).

It was in the early 90s that Pascale Fournier began her career as a visual artist. She perfected herself with the many artists around her.

Trained as a historian, the artist happily draws from the origins of Western culture: Egyptian, Greco-Roman, Etruscan, Celtic, Roman. During his encounters and his travels, his sources of inspiration multiplied. South America where she lives for several years, Africa, particularly Cameroon, Mexico at the Grûber-Jez Foundation where she resides for several years in a row. She works on the production of multimedia installations and works in collaboration and partnership with other artists and stakeholders within the company Archeologies du Futur, which she created in 2016.

Pascale Fournier uses the plastic potential of ceramic materials. She is developing a method combining traditional sculpting and modelling, casting or stamping in moulds, software sculpting and 3D printing. This gives him great freedom for the production of unique pieces or small numbered series.

She exhibits in France and abroad.

In 2019 she moved to the Morvan. The artist works in collaboration with other artists; She was introduced to weaving and acquired several looms for weaving and tapestry. She incorporates plants into her sculptures and weavings. She develops the concept: Weaving the moment, Weaving the landscape.
